Workshop Review: Goal-getting Workshop

I'm on a roll! I've been attending workshops for three consecutive weeks, no regrets at all. I have this mindset that the best investment is investing in myself. Plus, it is such a fun experience to meet people with the same hobby or somehow similar way of thinking. I must say, this workshop is different from the others that I have done.

The workshop was facilitated by Arriane Serafico, the person behind Wanderrgirl and Woman in Progress. I can' t believe that I have actually met her. *kilig* The workshop over all was really fun and an eye-opener for me. It was also new experience for me when I had to share my plans to a stranger which was kind of nice. There is just something about sharing your ideas to strangers and be given a bit of feed back.(very design thinking)

Some takeaways:
  • Before setting any goal you have to know your why's/bakit
  • You have to go and experience the world, not just in front of your screen.
  • You have to put some numbers on your goals
  • and whatever happens gather data
If you are feel overwhelmed with the things you want to do, lost or you just feel like you're stuck this workshop is for you. Goal-setting is a very personal but this workshop would give you a structure on how you could best reach those ideas/goals in your head.

My desk after last Saturday's workshop. Goal-setting isn't about just figuring out your whats and your hows. It's about your whys. It's about knowing who you really are, what you stand for, and what's truly important to you. Set goals that will give you the life you want, and you'll see that the follow-through will come naturally, no matter how scary or intimidating the entire process may be. Like they said, "If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough." Sometimes all you really have to do to keep going is to remember your why, and perhaps to surround yourself with like-minded passion-driven people. Thank you, @arrianeserafico, for that inspiring workshop! ♥️ And thank you, @sam.balasolla, for your beautiful cards! 😍 I hope you liked my healthy cookies, haha!
